1. Who we are

Rewire Brains is responsible for the personal information we handle through these services. Our business contact is Mohamed Abdul Samud.

This policy covers rewirebrains.com and our quiz, downloads, and affiliate website services. The separately distributed affiliate plugin has its own privacy notice.

2. Information we handle

• Website visits: technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, timestamps, and security-related activity. Our hosting providers process this information to deliver and protect the sites.
• Quiz use: your selected answers, quiz progress, result, generated report, and any campaign or affiliate codes carried in the link you followed.
• Purchases: order and product identifiers, payment or refund status, and information needed to verify download access. We may also receive customer contact and transaction details through Digistore24 for customer support and business records.
• Messages: your email address, name if supplied, and anything you choose to include when contacting us.

You do not need to provide an email address or create an account to take the quiz. Please avoid sending medical records or unnecessary sensitive information in support messages.

3. The quiz and your AI report

The quiz asks about everyday social situations. Your answers can reveal personal experiences, so we use them to create your reflection, rather than treating them as an advertising profile.

Quiz progress, selected answers, and generated reports are saved in your browser’s session storage so they can survive a refresh in the same tab. You can clear them by restarting the quiz or clearing that site’s browser storage. Session storage normally ends when you close the tab; browser session-restore features may retain it.

When you finish the quiz, a limited set of selected answers and the result category are sent over an encrypted connection to our report service. Cloudflare Workers AI uses that information to generate the short personal report. We do not send your email address, order information, or campaign identifiers to the AI model.

The current report service does not save quiz answers or generated reports in a server-side database or deliberately write them to application logs. A temporary, coded identifier derived from the connection’s IP address is used to limit repeated requests for about ten minutes. Our hosting provider also processes technical request information.

Cloudflare states that Workers AI customer content is not used to train models or improve its services without explicit consent. See Cloudflare’s Workers AI data information.

The quiz result and AI report are for reflection. They are not a clinical diagnosis and are not used by us to make decisions about employment, credit, insurance, or eligibility for services. You can leave the quiz at any time.

The quiz also records interaction events in the page, such as starting, completing, or spending a certain amount of time on a question. Those events exclude the selected answers, pattern labels, and scores. Campaign identifiers may be preserved when you continue to the next page.

4. Purchases and downloads

Checkout and payment are handled by Digistore24. The Digistore24 entity identified at checkout processes your payment information and has its own privacy policy. Rewire Brains does not collect or store your full card number or card security code on our website.

Digistore24 sends verified purchase, refund, and chargeback notifications to our fulfillment service. It keeps an access record containing the order identifier, product identifier, access status, and related verification timestamps. These records let us deliver your files, help with access problems, and stop access when a payment is refunded or reversed.

Your personal download link establishes a secure access cookie on downloads.rewirebrains.com. That cookie lasts up to 60 days and is needed to authorize downloads. Treat your personal link as private. The PDF and worksheet files you save are held on your device; notes you add to those files are not uploaded to us through the download page.

Affiliate links can include referral or campaign codes. Digistore24 may use its own cookies and identifiers to attribute a purchase to an affiliate. See the privacy and cookie notices shown by Digistore24 at checkout, including its US privacy policy.

5. Cookies, browser storage, and video

Cookies are small files saved by your browser. Browser storage can also remember information locally without using a cookie.

• Essential access: the download access cookie verifies your purchase. Blocking it can prevent downloads.
• Quiz session storage: remembers your current answers, progress, report, and referral information in the tab.
• Website analytics: optional Google Analytics tracking is currently disabled on the book page.

The introductory video is hosted by Wistia. Loading the player sends technical information, including your IP address and browser details, to Wistia to provide the video. We set its “do not track” option to disable viewing-session tracking. Functional player storage may still be used. See Wistia’s privacy policy.

The Digistore24 trust badges also load content from Digistore24, which receives the technical information needed to serve that content. Our download-page badge is isolated from the page’s purchase access data.

You can clear or block cookies and site storage through your browser. Browser settings for our website do not change cookies on Digistore24’s own websites.

6. Email and marketing

We use contact details to answer messages and help with purchases. Digistore24 sends purchase-related emails under its own policies.

If we introduce newsletters, promotions, or follow-up email sequences, we will explain what you are signing up for and obtain consent where required. Taking the quiz does not subscribe you to marketing emails. You can unsubscribe through the link in a marketing email or contact [email protected]. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop essential purchase or support messages.

Our business email is hosted through Zoho. A future email marketing provider will be identified when we introduce that service and update this policy as needed.

7. Who receives information

We share the information needed to run these services with:

• Cloudflare: website hosting, security, AI report processing, and secure purchase fulfillment.
• Digistore24: checkout, payments, purchase communications, affiliate attribution, and trust badges.
• Wistia: video hosting and playback.
• Zoho: business email and support correspondence.

Providers process information under their applicable service terms and privacy policies. Digistore24 also handles information for its own payment, legal, and business purposes. We do not provide affiliates with your quiz answers or AI report.

We may disclose information when legally required, to address fraud or security incidents, to protect legal rights, or during a business transfer subject to appropriate protections and notice.

8. Why we use personal information

We use information to provide services you request, deliver purchases, answer questions, maintain security, meet legal obligations, and improve the website. Where applicable, these purposes rely on performing a contract or taking requested steps before a contract, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service, legal obligations, or consent where required for optional services and marketing.

Where the law requires specific consent or another condition for sensitive personal information, that requirement applies in addition to these general purposes. Simply visiting this policy does not constitute consent to every use of your information.

9. How long information is kept

Quiz answers and reports remain in browser session storage as described above. The current AI report service does not have a persistent answer or report database. Temporary report rate-limit entries expire after about ten minutes. Download access cookies expire after up to 60 days.

Purchase and access records are retained while needed to provide access, verify payments and refunds, resolve disputes, prevent repeated fraudulent access, and meet recordkeeping obligations. Support messages are retained as needed to handle the request and any related follow-up or legal obligations. We may keep a minimal record of an unsubscribe request to respect that choice.

Technical logs are governed by the applicable provider and account retention settings. The expiry of a cookie does not necessarily delete the related server-side records. Contact us if you need information about a particular record or want to request its deletion.

10. International processing and security

Rewire Brains is based in South Africa. Our providers operate internationally, so information may be processed outside South Africa, including in the United States or Europe. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we use the relevant contractual or other lawful protections.

We use encrypted connections, controlled access, and purchase verification to protect information. No online service or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Please do not share your personal download link or include payment-card details in an email to us.

11. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may request access to personal information we hold, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or a portable copy. You may object to certain processing and withdraw consent where we rely on it. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before you withdrew consent.

Email [email protected] with your request. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity and locate the relevant records. Some records must be retained for legal, security, or transaction-related reasons, and we will explain any applicable limitation.

You can clear quiz session storage and other site storage in your browser, and unsubscribe from marketing emails. For payment information held independently by Digistore24, you can also contact Digistore24 directly.

You may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa or the data protection authority in your jurisdiction, where applicable. You do not have to contact us first to exercise that right.

12. Children’s privacy

The website and quiz are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information without any authorization required by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact [email protected] so we can review and address it.

13. Updates and other websites

We update this policy when our services or data practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest version. We will provide additional notice or request new consent when required for a material change.
